Community History Project

As we honour the Past, we meet in the Present and together we step into the Future.

Celebrating One Incredible Family | 2022-Our Year of Celebrations | Start Telling Your Stories | OurBlog |

Our Community History will be a very individual, comprehensive, inclusive storytelling that covers all the aspects ofour Community over the 60 years: a ‘collective autobiography’, a people’s history, experiences of building the manydifferent elements of our Community (‘successes’ and ‘failures’/learnings) over the decades.

Let’s Share Our Stories

We realise that the time is NOW to collect these stories as many of the community members are getting older, somehave already died, and we are probably the last people who can tell these stories first-hand or at least posthumously bysomeone who knew the person.

The storytelling will be on an interactive website where we share our stories with the world, inviting everyone to partake in the journey of our Community and gather with us ‘around the fireside’ to hear the stories.

There will also be a private Members Area for more intimate sharings, discussions and an activeengagement with the future of this Centre of Light. This will allow our Community History to stayalive, as it will be added to by future generations to come. It will also become a resource for anyoneinterested in our Community and contribute to a global envisioning of a ‘better world’ from thepeople’s perspective.

We are still in the development stage of the whole project and it is evolving fast. At present our documentation is stillheld here on the NFA website. We are presently raising the funds to develop the dedicated website, when things willbecome a lot more accessible and engaging. For now, we invite you to become part of the emerging.

At this stage comments for improvement are essential, and we welcome practical support for  the many different aspects of this ambitious project. Please feel free to forward this to any other Community members, past and present, you think may be interested, as well as people who have had a significant impact on the history of this community.
