NFA FORUM OF ORGANISATIONS – PROJECT BY ADRIANA SJAN BIJMAN

A  series of interviews and photos by long term community member Adriana Bijman highlighting selected members of the NFA Forum of Organisations and community projects.

There are around 30 to 35 organisations/business/groups within the NFA Forum of Organisations. As they were not very visible until 2015 Adriana Sjan Bijman proposed the NFA a visual project with the aim to put the organisations ‘in the limelight’.

Together with the New Findhorn Association (NFA), who contributed with some financial support, Adriana Sjan Bijman offered 10 NFA Organisations to be part of a creative photo/interview project. Participating in this project gave the organisations/businesses the possibility to become more visible and raise their profile within and outside the Findhorn Foundation Community. There were no costs involved for the organisation, only their time to participate.

The participating organisations were interviewed at their premise, they gave information about ‘the facts’ like structure, members and such, of their organisation and their whole team turned up for a photo session. The last would be part of a visual impression of the organisation, a kind of collage including the logo and other visual information Adriana collected from and about the organisation.

In spring 2015 this project was published in successive weekly issues of the Rainbow Bridge, the community’s magazine with around 350 subscriptions online and as paper version. We also publish it on the NFA website, and it is available as information in the NFA general office and the Foundation’s Visitor’s Centre in The Park at Findhorn.
