I was born and lived in Findhorn until I was 4. Growing up in Norway and then Sweden I returned in 2011, living in the Park, doing LCG, assisting at the Ecovillage Training and then doing LEAP.
After a year I left again and spend the next two years working, travelling and going on many journeys both outer and inner. In my travels I have spent time in the Tamera community in Portugal and visited several other Ecovillages, eco-projects and communities across Europe and the world.
One of my powerful realisations during this time was that I want to be a part of creating the world I want to live in, and that this must include ways to live together in community and in balance with the infinite complexity of life that surrounds and encompasses us.
I returned to Findhorn in the fall 2014 after attending the New Story Summit and now find myself working for GEN-International (the Global Ecovillage Network), NextGEN-Europe (A network of the younger generations of GEN), taking care of the Living Machine and holding and engaging with different activities related to youth/young adults in the community. The last is one of several aspects I would like to explore and deepen in the role as NFA councillor – what would a Findhorn look like that excited and attracted young people?
I am able to commit to being in Findhorn (and the role as counsellor) for one year and would be stepping into the role with this understanding. With Love – Tobias
