Minding the Gap is a partnership between the Community Care Circle and Children and Youth in Community. The aım ıs for Olders and Youngers ın our communıty to connect more, to be ‘real people’ for/wıth each other, to share storıes, skılls – to celebrate the full spectrum that thıs communıty offers.
In March 2015 the project recived £1490 from tsiMoray to organise 16 events – 6 meals, 6 film discussions and 4 community arts events – over the course of one year. As of October 2015 the project has held two well attended film nights, two delicious meals and two fun and productive arts events.

The MTG initiative came out of the New Story Summit in September 2014 where youngers voiced their need to be seen as real people (rather than being ‘glorified or belittled’ as they felt it) and elders also shared their perception about relating to young people.
